This 8th edition is placed under the theme "the manufacture of the city to professionals. Given the economic and social growth of African populations, the promoters face a dual challenge: meeting the growing needs of urban populations while ensuring that buildings and infrastructure are of high quality, cost effective, and comply with environmental and safety regulations.
