Celebration of International Women's Rights Day 2024 at Bureau Veritas Côte d'Ivoire

Mar. 18 2024

Every year, March 08 is dedicated to the celebration of International Women's Rights Day. This year, Bureau Veritas made inclusion a point of honor with the theme "Inspiring Inclusion."The celebration was held in partnership with the Agence Nationale de Gestion des Déchets (ANAGED), a Bureau Veritas Côte d'Ivoire partner. Inclusion and diversity are intrinsic values at Bureau Veritas, and we work to create an equitable, healthy and fair working environment. That's why we're celebrating this day in a very special way.

Bureau Veritas teams, both men and women, came together over the course of a week to take part in a number of activities. Cohesion and multiculturalism were at the heart of the first day, with the wearing of traditional outfits highlighting each ethnic group.

Wellness being a priority, a fitness session was organized on the second day. The following day, BV and ANAGED teams visited the YARANI Institute, a vocational training center for girls and women. On the program: panels on hygiene and health, particularly in the hotel and catering sectors, as well as a cleaning activity around the institute.

To round off the week's celebrations, ANAGED and Bureau Veritas Côte d'Ivoire met again on Friday March 8. The Managing Director of Bureau Veritas Côte d'Ivoire, Olivier ONILLON, congratulated the women on their dedication to work, and expressed his satisfaction at having collaborated with ANAGED to make the event a success. The Director of ANAGED, Sarrahn OUATTARA, also encouraged the women to persevere in the fight for the full acquisition of their rights.

We are proud of this collaboration and look forward to continuing our efforts to promote gender equality and inclusion.
